Polo Azteca Club was Founded By George Estrada Jr. in 1998. Polo Azteca is a member of the United States Polo Association and is the only polo instructional facility in the metro Phoenix area.

George Estrada Jr. was a professional Jockey for over 20 years racing all over United States and Canada. After retirement George took up polo to continue to enjoy horses. George achieved a 2 goal rating indoor and outdoor. George played international polo at San Jorge, Buenos Aries, San Martin de Los Andes and in Africa at the Nairobi Polo Club, Kenya.

Polo Azteca members currently play in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico and California. Students from Polo Azteca have played in the most prestigious tournaments in polo including the US Arena Open, the Copa de las Americas, and the Will Rogers Cup.



Jorge Estrada Jr.(1) has been playing polo since 1998. He was a professional Jockey for over 20 years. He has been trained by the USPA Polo Development LLC as a Polo Instructor and has taught many low and medium goal players the sport. He still actively competes in USPA events in Arizona, California, and New Mexico. He is also Currently the USPA Border Circuit Lt Governor for Arizona.

George Estrada III (2) has been playing polo since 1999 at the age of 10. George has developed the skills to earn a spot on the Team USPA. He is a USPA Certified Polo Instructor.

Dan Coleman(.5,1) has been playing polo since 2004. A lifelong rider and rancher he learned to play at Polo Azteca and has competed nationally and internationally. In 2014 his $D Ranch team played in the US Arena Open. Currently he coaches the Being the Change Interscholastic Team. He is a CC rated Arena umpire.
